Job Title: 2017 International Graduate Programme – Commercial Banking
Location: Nigeria

Job Description
Commercial Banking provides solutions to small businesses, entry level corporates, entrepreneurs and local businesses, as well as mature and fast growing middle market companies.
We help our clients grow and expand internationally, facilitating trade with their buyers and suppliers, managing their working capital and transactional needs, assisting them in managing volatility (currency, commodity prices, interest rates), as well as providing markets and corporate financing solutions when their needs become more complex.
In your first year we will provide you with the broadest possible exposure to the Bank, below are some of the projects and experiences you can expect as part of our Commercial Banking stream:
Work directly with new clients to learn, analyse and identify opportunities to advance their business
Map, mine and implement cross sell opportunities to expand existing client relationships
Partner with Relationship Managers to structure and diversify client transactions
At the end of your one year programme, you will choose your role within our Commercial Banking business. Below are some of the roles our IG Alumni have selected at the end of the formal programme:
Portfolio Manager, Medium Enterprise
Assistant Relationship Manager
Markets Product Specialist, Credit
Client Due Diligence Analyst
Relationship Manager

Job Description
Our Corporate & Institutional Banking Clients business serves the banking needs of our global and large scale enterprise, financial institutions and government clients. Getting to know our biggest clients, their businesses and challenges is core to the work of these teams. These teams are responsible for providing global expertise and local support, and bring together the right people from across the Bank to craft the right solutions for our clients.
Corporate Finance helps clients build their businesses through financial and strategic advice. The teams offer a range of products including Mergers and Acquisitions, Leveraged Finance, Project and Export Finance, Structured Trade Finance, Principal Finance and Structured Finance.
This stream offers a first-year experience spanning both our Corporate & Institutional Banking Clients and Corporate Finance businesses.
In your first year we will provide you with the broadest possible exposure to the Bank. Below are some of the projects and experiences you can expect as part of our Corporate & Institutional Banking Clients and Corporate Finance stream:
Build financial models and provide the analysis and insight on the impacts of different capital structures
Originate deals, prepare and pitch to clients
Work on critical research and provide insights to deal teams on key markets, industries and clients
Work with teams across the bank to manage credit approval processes, onboard clients and take responsibility for account planning
At the end of your one year programme, you will choose your role within our Corporate & Institutional Banking Clients or Corporate Finance businesses. Below are some of the roles our IG Alumni have selected at the end of the formal programme:

Job Description
Retail Banking is at the forefront of the change in banking. As the world gets more connected, the banking industry is transforming and our Retail Banking teams are working to re-imagine banking; making it faster, easier and more personalised.
As a Retail Banking International Graduate you will be based in a head office location at the core of the Retail Banking business. As a Retail Banking IG, you will work in a central team, supporting the franchise, not in a front line Sales or Branch based role.
Below are some of the projects and experiences you can expect as part of our Retail Banking stream:
Contribute to the design and development of global customer acquisition programmes
Project manage strategy standardisation across channels, segments and regions
Run revenue forecasting and campaign analysis
Contribute to the development of Customer Value Propositions
Initiate, coordinate, monitor and deliver digital projects
Develop, deploy and measure new marketing campaigns

Job Summary
Our Financial Markets teams expertly deliver a variety of risk management, financing and investment solutions to our clients. Offering a full suite of fixed income, currencies, commodities and capital markets solutions, the Financial Markets business comprises Sales, Trading, Capital Markets, Asset and Liability Management, Structuring and Research.

Job Descriptions
In your first year we will provide the broadest possible exposure to the Bank, below are some of the projects and experiences you can expect as part of our Financial Markets stream:
Analyse and create pitchbooks, confirming client deals and coordinating client events as part of our Sales teams
Price, test, develop and roll-out new products as part of our Structuring teams
Provide insights on balance sheet movements, report changes in liquidity profiles and track Trading desk funding profiles as part of our ALM teams
Support senior desk members executing and inputting hedging trades and provide pricing to sales desks as part of our Trading Teams.
