The woman identified as Oluwakemi Etu was said to have attacked Kehinde Etu (the husband), on Saturday, September 3, and left him in a pool of his own blood.
Reports say the couple had just finished making love before she carried out the dastardly act on her husband who was left in bruises after the incident.

According to her, she inflicted the bruises on her husband after she heard that he was planning to marry a second wife.

Mr Etu is presently at the state general hospital, Ijebu-Ode, where he is presently receiving treatment.
Recently, an act of domestic violence landed a man in the custody of Imo state police command. This follows report on Vanguard that the 36-year-old man, Onyekachi Anele was arrested for slapping his wife to death.
It was gathered that Onyekachi had a misunderstanding with his wife, Chikodi after she insulted him over N100. In annoyance, he slapped his wife who immediately returned it, but will receive a second slap which sent her to an early grave.
Onyekachi and his late wife, Chikodi, were residents of Obiniezena in Owerri North local government area, before the tragedy struck.
